Mooring covers are designed to snap to the bottom of the windshield to protect the boat from water and sun damage when not in use. They are usually made in two pieces with one for the bow and one for the aft that overlaps the bow piece. They are a little harder to put on than a cockpit cover, which snaps to the top of the windshield.
